NLC Students Raise Funds for Better at Home

We were so very touched that the Northern Lights College, Class of Management 425, thought of Better at Home and our community seniors. They put on an amazing fundraiser event, with international food, dancing, and the wonderful music of 'Earth, Wind, and Snow'. Today Sai Kaethia Addu and Bhaegav Bhalgamadia, representing the class, came to the office to donate $2,000.00 to the Better at Home program. Thank You SPSASS and 100 Women Who Care-Dawson Creek

Jeannie Lindgren of SPSASS presenting a cheque for $15,000 to Brigitta Ratschker for the Better at Home Program. The funds will be used to provide housekeeping services to local seniors to help them remain independent in their own homes. 'Good Things' are coming soon!

So happy to tell you that our first cook book "Good Things" will be available very soon! The printer has confirmed that they will be here in time for the Dawson Creek Kiwanis Trade Show (April 17 - 19). We'll be in our usual booth - #340 in the Memorial Arena and we'll have them for sale there and at the office, and probably at a few other spots around town. We'll keep you posted on that.
